No there is only until episode 3 but if you have Apple pay you could buy it (it's only about 4,50€/5$) for season one and watch it in Chrome browser with the Google website translation. It's Google translate but still ok. Just sometimes the sentences are cut off if they are too long. If you understand some Chinese I think it works well this way. I can't understand everything either. We just need to study hard and one day we won't need subs anymore^^

They were lonely souls that dedicate themselves to their duties, and when they encountered each other they notice that two of them have similar and opposite side that completing each other.❤️❤️

CYZ is so pure that make me believe he likely thinks JYL is very kind to him because his a kindhearted and gentleman person who sometime couldn’t control his anger. 😇😄 But after all incidents CYZ shows he love JYL to the extent he doesn't want to see him in pain.

For JYL case he definitely notices his feeling but wouldn’t show it unless he’s sees his beloved is in danger or get jealous.😄

But I think JYL figured out that he likes CYZ very much. There is the "Zhi Ji" word which crossed his mind in Chapter 13. And we know how much the meaning is big behind this word (The Untamed vibes "hello!!!", whole-life soulmate confidant is in the place 😍). In chapter 16, after the CRAZY THING that just happened (😍🙈!!) I think the "thing that JYL figured out but at the same time didn't" is probably his feelings for CYZ. But if he doesn't say anything about his feelings, it's probably because he is shy and thinks he doesn't deserve to be loved. He feels also guilty about what happened to Keying and more of it it's because his life is quite dangerous that JYL doesn't want to put CYZ in danger even more. But altogether, JYL (and us 🤣) are well aware of his own feelings.

For CYZ, is a little more tricky specially in the the first chapters to say how does it feel about JYL (although loosing his temper only with him it's already a good hint😂). But he does care a lot about JYL❤️ and probably aware about JYL's feelings for him (as we saw in Chapter 17 and 18) and this is gonna be even more evident that he knows in the next chapters in Book 2....😀

Ahaha yeah we will survive we have too!! Yes so true!! And I remembered once Xiao Ge came to Wu xie home after the hospital and remembered his name Wu Xie was so relieved 🥰! In the novel, Wu Xie is even more verbal in his thoughts about how he felt about Xiao Ge. Like the scene when the granny Huo kneeled down in front of Xiao Ge. In the book Xiao Ge is shocked and felt like him and Xiao Ge are living in two different worlds, that they are too far apart from each other. Part of him doesn’t want also for Xiao Ge to get his memory back because that means he will no longer needs him and will leave again 🥺😭❤️❤️❤️

Although it was hard for the actors to playing in this drama, they mention that they are willing to act in another season, If producers choose them.

But I cross my fingers hoping that we will have a new season with the same cast 🙏

But knowing the discreet, tender and kind character of CYZ it was highly possible, that he would stay silent about it. Because JYL going to such extent as buying an expensive clinic for me and managing to offer him without telling me was so huge for sure CYZ was moved and touched and second he probably didn't want for JYL to feel embarrassed about it.

But then the Chapter 18 came and then BANG!!!!! CYZ trapped JYL to almost said the truth and CYZ clearly make him understand that he knows!!!! That was so beautiful 😍

So agree with you, this novel is a blessing and so happy that we got some info about CYZ's background! Like you I don't know why they never mentioned it in the drama. His past is so tragic and yet so beautiful!

For the translation it's been a little time but really I'm still a baby at it. And even if it was a little time eating it was so interesting! I said the idiom sucks at the end of the chapter 19 but it's not completely true 🤣 (just a little bit lol).

I found beautiful the way the Chinese language describes things. It's like poetry. There is so much meaning behind every words they said, so profound. This is just amazing.

For example in Chap 19 : someone describes CYZ character using a Chinese idiom which said : "Charitable in thought and deed."

This idiom was made by a philosopher named Mencius and his life philosophy was that "humans are innately good, but that this quality requires cultivation and the right environment to flourish. And that rulers must justify their position of power by acting benevolently towards their subjects".

So here both the meaning of the idiom and the life philosophy of the guy who wrote it COMPLETELY FIT CYZ character!

The author of this novel worked so hard on it and on the character development, and even goes to that extent to use this kind of beautiful words to describe them. This is just amazing!

And about the audio drama, really for the English sub on YouTube it will not happened ? This is so sad 😥... Do you know why ?

I already feel withdrawal symptoms because book 1 has already ended😭 Are there any news yet when the second book will be published? I'm so happy they decided to publish a novel to give us all those missing informations. I always wondered about CYZs background and I don't know why they decided to just ignore this. It's a pity they could have easily made this drama even better just by adding more background information. But the actors did such a great job to deliver us this masterpiece. Just like you it's the story that attracted me to this drama! To the point of buying the novel and trying to translate it ! I cannot really explain why I love this drama and the novel that much!

I think it's probably because of the beautiful and refreshing story between Chen Yu Zhi and Jiang Yue Lou and the acting of Mao Zi Jun and Ian Yi, who did a wonderful job to convey the emotions of their characters!

JYL, is a three dimensional, very complex character so interesting to follow. Good and evil, strong but frail, impetuous but considerate, in love and COMPLETELY in love of CYZ ahaha. He's even more interesting in the novel where we can understand more how is having a hard time with his emotional illness which is really tortured him. We can also see in the novel more of his dark side and to which extent he's ready to go to do what he thinks he's right.

We can also feel his loneliness on this long, difficult and dangerous path he chose to take to remove the opium in his city... until finally he met someone he would probably never imagine he can have in his life...

...CYZ... what should I say about him... probably one of the most beautiful soul that I ever watch in dramaland before. Kindhearted, considerate, clever, understanding, forgiving... and he is everything that JYL needed in his life!

The two are a match made in Heaven, destined to meet! Real Zhi Ji!!! (And gosh, when JYZ thinks about them that way in chapter 13... First at all, The Untamed pop up in mind right away, and second that means so much!!! This is the highest level of connection between two person in Chinese! Much more that soulmates or lovers!)

Their relationship is the real main story of the drama and even more in the novel. All the drugs fighting scenes, are the others characters are more background. The plot is entirely focused on them.

The way they interact, the way they think about the other, the way they started to get close and develop feelings for each other was a delight to watch and is fantastic to read!!! This couple is so well-balanced, realistic, honest and equal in what they give and receive to each other. Which is very refreshing to see compared to many other dramas.

I also love how the writer develop their relationship in the novel. It's really beautiful and cute, and for many part also very subtle like if the author wanted to leave them some privacy or maybe because there is no need to write too much because their little actions are already enough to understand what is happening between them.

For example I don't know if you have read the chapter 17 yet but at the end of the chapter : careful SPOILER if you don't have see it

CYZ is waiting for JYL, in JYL's office when he finally saw a calligraphy. And in this passage it's written

"When facing this character CYZ's heart was moved and he stood here and stared at it for a long time".

I don't know what people feel about that passage but for me looking at the character CYZ recognized the style of the calligraphy and the handwriting which are the same as the one who did his sign for the clinic!!! So at that moment he figured it out that not only JYL did his sign but he is probably also the one who paid for his clinic!!!! And that's why his heart was moved at that time!!!!

So it's very subtle moment and at that specific moment you can just wondering if that's really the case, but something will happened in chapter 18 which confirm that CYZ has figure out that JYL bought his clinic. Again a little subtle also in Chapter 18, but I'm sure he knows now.

See, this is so cute!!!! That's why I like all these beautiful moments that the novel give us that wasn't there in the drama.

Let me express my utmost admiration and appreciation for the steamy wonton translation whose works I enjoy reading a lot. Translation job can be quite tricky, requiring ones' exceptional skill to put the original works into different words in another different language. The capability to choose and apply the accurate dictions pertains to the translators is consequentially significant to the final result of the works. Dictions, the way in which something is put into words, are the instruments that transport us to the universe built and created by the author. Through the dictions we wholy relinguish our emotion to be immeresed in the story, tormented by conspiracies, played around along the plot, soared up high to the ultimate happiness or dropped down to the deepest trench of agony. And that's what I am enjoying at the moment; the on-going brilliant work of 很君不似江楼月 Hěn Jùn Bù Sì Jiāng Lóu Yuè translations that makes the wait worthwile as I'm willing to excruciate myself in the world of ravishing chaos. Thank you for your hard work again, you are among the best translations Ive ever come across by far. 😉

Right from the start I had the feeling that the novel will add a lot to the world which was created by the drama but I never expected that much more.

For me waiting for the next chapter is absolutely the same like waiting for the next episode of an addictive TV show.

The magic of the novel in my opinion is closely related to the TV drama. All the actors, the directors, screenwriter did such a wonderful job (but let's not talk about the end of the drama, I know what will happen altough I didn't watched it til the end until now). In my mind I only see the actors when reading. At some points the novel seems to be written after the casting was already done because it just fits the appearance of the actors that much. The strongest asset is of course the chemistry between the leads. It urges you to want to see and hear so much more of their interactions and the novel delivers right in the spot.

The strenght of the novel lies especially in the details foremost regarding Jiang Yue Lou's and Chen Yu Zhi's relationship. It's always a pleasure to read about their feelings and thoughts which couldn't be shown that directly in the drama.

The first time I read it I screamed like crazy too!!! After watching the drama I could never imagine we will be gifted with such wonderful ( and bold 😳♥️🤭♥️🙈) moments in the novel! The novel is completely dedicated to their story. The way they interact, the way they think of each other !!! This is just 🥰🥰🥰 And after reading it and specially the chapter 16 and 17 no one can make me him believe that this two are « just friends »!!!
